Corvette Museum

The CBI trip to the Corvette Museum was a first for me.  The students got to explore if working in the car industry is something they would be interested in after high school.  By the looks of their faces, I think the answer is a yes.  Haha!  However, the car industry is a lot more than just these cool corvettes.  My favorite part was the art work made from car parts.  We also got to practice eating on a budget and next dollar strategy at lunch.  It was a great trip overall.

Wacky Wednesday Thanksgiving Theme

Last week our Wacky Wednesday was Thanksgiving theme.  We had such a great time making turkey legs, disguising turkey's so they would not be eaten, and making paper dolls/snowflakes.  I can't wait for more holiday activities.

Holiday Meal

Young Life Capernaum Thanksgiving Theme

Today we had Young Life Capernaum Thanksgiving theme.  We played a game of tag where we had "hunters" and "turkeys".  Two students also got "stuffed" and dressed up as turkeys and had to dodge nerf arrows.  We also played a life size version of Hungry Hungry Hippo and sent a get well message to our friend, Jack.

Powder Puff Fun

We had a very exciting Powder Puff Football fundraiser for the CEC.  One of our very own, Courtland, sang the National Anthem.  Then, we were the half time performance.  Check out our video.

Veterans Day Assembly

We had a beautiful Veterans Day Program this morning. I'm so proud to be a part of a school who takes the time to recognize and thank those that serve. 

1st Trimester Learning Celebrations

Last Thursday we had our first trimester learning celebrations. I am so proud of my class and how well they did the first trimester. I know this winter term will be just as awesome.
