Friends
Recently, we have been talking about friends. Making and maintaining friends is a life skill. Fun times are better when shared with someone. Throughout our lessons we have discovered our own character traits, character traits we want in a friend, the likes and dislikes of our classmates, how it feels to give and receive compliments, and how our actions impact others. As we have gone through our lessons, one student has been the highlight of the discussion amongst the other students. This student is Hunter. Hunter always thinks of others before himself. He is a great friend to all and always has a great attitude. He makes it a point to make others feel special. We all can learn from him. We are so blessed to have Hunter as a friend in our class. Here he is with one of his best friends Corey.
Thanksgiving Fun
To celebrate Thanksgiving, we spent the morning playing games, crafting, and cooking. Check out some of our fun activities.

Happy Baby Daddy
Mr. Bobby's and Mr. Doug's wives are both having baby boys this holiday season. We celebrated this morning with a little baby shower fun.
We had to guess the baby food. Angel got them all correct! Check out Hunter working hard.
Here are the Dad's to be in a race to see who can put the diaper on the baby the fastest! For those of you who don't know, Mr. Bobby has a three year old so he should be the winner here....no contest!
The special education staff at Apollo all chipped in and we got both families Target gift cards to shop for their new bundles of joy. Congratulations Denton and Ewing family. We can't wait to meet your sweet baby boys.
Here are the baby daddy's wearing their custom shirts.
Mr. Bobby practicing his baby feeding skills on Mr. Doug.
Three students were selected to see who could drink the most apple juice out of the baby bottle in a given time. Hunter was our winner!

Thank You Veterans
Yesterday, we had the honor of attending the Veterans Day Assembly at Apollo. It was such a privilege to be in the company of so many veterans and show them respect.
